EAVE organises an EAVE ON DEMAND session in co-operation with EUFCN / Filming in Europe from November20-21 in Torino, Italy for EUFCN members.
The 2-day tailor-made workshop for EUFCN members will increase the participants’ knowledge about co-production, share experiences and provide inspiration on how to make the cooperation between film commissions, funders and producers in Europe even more efficient. Co-production is a more and more vital in the audiovisual industry and film commissioners can play a crucial role in this new scenario. The EUFCN network is a meaningful resource to build collaboration and share experience along members and countries, the right entity who could open a discussion on this subject with the guidance of EAVE experts and professionals.

EAVE experts Roshanak Behesht Nedjad (Flying Moon, Germany), Titus Kreyenberg (unafilm, Germany), Katriel Schory (Israel Film Fund, Israel), Pierre-Emmanuel Mouthuy (Mouthuy Avocats, Belgium) and Alessandro Gropplero (FVG, Italy) will share their experiences with co-production in Europe and internationally and discuss regional and international audiovisual policy, the roles of film commissions and regional funds in co-production, how to combine the different sectors successfully (funding, film commission, training, markets & festivals, networking, distribution), and what are the different tools for co-production in Europe.

Previous EAVE ON DEMAND sessions this year have taken place in Lagos/Nigeria (in cooperation with the Goethe Institut Lagos), in Tbilisi/ Georgia (in cooperation with the GNFC), in Tallinn/Estonia (in partnership with the Estonian Film Institute), in Trinidad/Trinidad and Tobago (in cooperation with the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival) and Tirana, Albania (in cooperation with the Tirana International Film Festival).
