Fiction tourism is a growing market, and its effects on a destination gets increasingly important. How can a destination grow and benefit from the effects of fiction tourism?
The region Ystad & Österlen together with co partners Tourism in Skåne and Film i Skåne invite you to Mixed Reality Scandinavia – two days with good examples on strategies and efforts where literature, film and other fiction create product and destination development.

In recent months the Government of Malta has revised the incentive schemes for film productions to benefit up to a maximum of 25% cash rebate.
Malta has welcomed a number of productions, to mention a few “Courier from Paradise” (Russia), “Pirate Pete And The Sea Monster” (Belgium), “Fort Ross” (Russia), “A Matter of Honour” (Russia), “Angels or Demons” (Russia),  “The Whale” (UK), “Come un Delfino” (Italy), “Asterix et Obelix 4” (France), “The Seige of Malta” (UK), “Captain Phillips” (US).

South Tyrol as ideal platform for co-productions between north and south.
Four Countries. Two Languages. One Summit.” This was the slogan of the INCONTRI international co-production meetings in South Tyrol, which Business Location Südtirol – Alto Adige (BLS) presented for the third time this year during the Bolzano Film Festival in mid-April. The event aims to promote cooperation between the German-and Italian-language film industries in a proactive way, to encourage transnational working relationships and to position South Tyrol in the long term as a region for film.

Brussels Film Office was once more a partner of the 31st edition of the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (well known like " BIFFF").
This year, for the first time, the BIFFF has put up its tents at the Center For Fine Arts or  " Bozar"
The film OBLIVION , with Tom Cruise, has been projected in  worldwide "avant-première".
64 000 visitors  have enjoyed the third major Festival , a great year, a great success for this edition.
